Dave Grohl recently spoke to GQ about his time in Nirvana and how he feels when listening to their music today.
The Foo Fighters front man was only 21-years old when he joined the Seattle grunge pioneering outfit.
He called his time with them "greatest highs of my life, but after Kurt Cobain died, it broke his heart. He says, "For years I couldn't even listen to any music, let alone a Nirvana song." Today he doesn't listen to their songs, but "they are always on somewhere."
Grohl also says he still remembers the details of recording the songs, what they were wearing, the weather outside.
Do you remember what you were doing when you heard the news of Kurt Cobain's death?
