Unfortunately Dave Grohl knows all too well the aftermath that comes from a friend and bandmate committing suicide. Thursday was the 24th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death.
Linkin Park singer/guitarist Mike Shinoda in a recent interview talks about how the Foo Fighters front man and former Nirvana drummer helped him deal with the loss of Chester Bennington.
Shinoda, who is promoting his debut solo album, pointed to Grohl saying, "after Nirvana, seeing him do the thing and get back up and create Foo Fighters out of nothing. That's a moment where you go, that can be done, it feels heroic.
