Eddie Vedder was doing a set down in Brazil (solo, not with Pearl Jam) and covering quite a few artists. But the song that emerged as gold was his cover of the Nine Inch Nails classic, "Hurt" (which has also been covered by Johnny Cash). Some very nice Twitter user was nice enough to upload it to their account.
Consequence Of Sound reports that Vedder also covered songs by Daniel Johnston (“Walking the Cow”), Pink Floyd (“Brain Damage”), Warren Zevon (“Keep Me In Your Heart”), John Lennon (“Imagine”), and Tom Petty (“Wildflowers”), among others. Glen Hansard also made an appearance during the show’s encore, joining Vedder for performances of The Everly Brothers’ “Sleepless Nights”, Jerry Hannan’s “Society”, and Indio’s “Hard Sun”. Vedder also played plenty of Pearl Jam and solo material.
That sure sounds like quite a solid show and setlist!
