Police have released video footage of Sunday's fatal pedestrian crash involving a self-driving Uber vehicle in Tempe, Arizona.
49-year-old Elaine Herzberg was killed in the crash. She can be seen walking her bicycle across the street as the vehicle approached at about 40 mph.
Interior footage shows the vehicle's operator, Rafaela Vasquez. She appears to look down and away from the road multiple times, and does not appear to have her hands on the wheel.
Since the incident, Uber has suspended its road tests for autonomous vehicles. Toyota made a similar announement on Tuesday.
The NTSB and NHTSA both launched investigations this week.
