Washington, D.C. Councilman Trayon White is apologizing for suggesting that a Jewish family secretly controls the weather.
During Friday's snowfall, White posted a video to Facebook about "climate manipulation" in which he refers to "the Rothschilds controlling the climate to create natural disasters". "The Rothschilds" refers to a European banking family that frequently pops up in conspiracy theories.
After outcry that his comments were anti-Semitic, The 33-year-old White deleted the video and apologized on Twitter.
