If you bought a Playstation 3 back in the day, you might have some money coming your way. Sony has settled a class action lawsuit and will be paying out $3.75 million over the console's launch.
When the Playstation 3 launched in 2006, the company claimed the console could run Linux, allowing customers to use their PS3 as a computer. But Sony never went through with the plan, leading five plaintiffs to sue.
If you bought the original "fat" PS3 between November 1st, 2006 and April 1st, 2010, you could be eligible for a $65 payout. Go to otherossettlement.com (Other OS Settlement) Claims must be filed by April 15.
