Get ready for guys to ask their male friends, "Are you on the pill?"
A male birth control pill for men has cleared its first tests.
The pill called DMAU suppresses hormones required for sperm production, including testosterone. During testing, the pill limited the amount of sperm without a lot of side effects.
There's still a lot of study to do. If it is medically approved, the trust factor of men taking the pill on a regular basis will come into play.
