Dick's Sporting Goods is the latest major company to announce changes in the wake of the Parkland, FLA shooting.
The sports retail chain announced that it would no longer sell assault-style rifles in its stores, effective immediately. Dick's will also no longer sell high-capacity magazines and will not sell a gun to anyone under the age of 21.
CEO Edward Stack says these policies are a direct reaction to Parkland, saying they were "disturbed and upset" by the tragedy that killed 17 people.
Records show Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz had legally purchased a gun from a Dick's store in November, although it was not the same weapon used in the shooting.
