Two teachers, Brittany Wheaton and Olivia Bertels, used their Instagram pages and have started a movement for teachers to be heard after the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High in Florida.
When President Trump tweeted in support of teachers having guns, Wheaton and Bertels started "#ArmMeWith" to show what teachers really wanted instead of the right to carry guns.
"Since teachers are the individuals in the classroom when it happens, I like to think we know what's best for our students," Wheaton said.
The hashtag caught on fast with teachers wanting to be armed with things like books, mental health service, smaller class sizes, time, support, school supplies, and the list continues to grow.
