Sports Illustrated finds itself under attack once again for its annual swimsuit edition.
The National Center on Sexual Exploitation is calling on people to boycott the annual issue and demand that Target and Walgreens remove it from their stores.
“SI Swimsuit tells men of all ages, backgrounds, and demographics that you are entitled to gawk at women and girls as sex objects for your viewing pleasure,” says Dawn Hawkins, the center’s executive director
Olympic gymnast and sexual assault survivor Aly Raisman participated in the magazine and was photographed by an all female crew. Still many are not happy with the magazine.
Are you ok with the swimsuit issue? Should people who don't like it just not buy it or look at it? Do you think the issue objectifies women who are being paid to appear in the issue?
