University of Connecticut psychiatry professor David Greenfield compares humans to the famous "Pavlovian dogs" that were studied by famed Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov so many years ago.
According to Greenfield, The average adult checks their phone 50 to 300 times each day.
Could you stay off of your smartphone one day per week? Doctors say it isn't such a bad idea to "Smartphone Detox."
Take baby steps. Try eliminating the smartphone from your dinner table.
