Comedian Jim Carrey has decided to quit Facebook and dumped his stock in the company. He also is urging you to do the same thing.
His reasoning for selling his stock and deleting his page is because he believes that Facebook profited from Russian interference during 2016 elections.
Facebook has admitted that up to 126 million people saw the Russian bought ads that were bought to sway the U.S. elections. They also admitted that their algorithm recommended content by Russian operatives.
"Now social media has created cyber-bridges over which those who do not have our best interest in mind can cross and we are allowing it. No wall is going to protect us from that." Carrey continued on his reasons to dump Facebook.
