The calendar might be turning to February but spring is still a distant thought for the eastern part of the country.
Heavily populated areas will be seeing light snow over the next few days but they'll also be seeing bitter cold along with that snow.
The first system already moved through the Midwest and the Great Lakes bringing a heavy burst of snow from Minneapolis to Green Bay, Wisconsin, and into Michigan overnight.
Areas from Michigan to western Pennsylvania are seeing snow along with New York and New England. In the northeast, the storm will start as rain.
The system causing this weather will impact areas from the Carolina's all the way to Maine. Does it feel like winter starts later and lasts longer these days?
