The fact that only one woman won a Grammy last night prompted the start of #GrammysSoMale on social media. When some of the men at the Grammys were asked about the hashtag, the comments varied.
Chris Stapleton, who won Best Country Album said, "It's always hard to see something not go somebody's way. Equality is something we have to address on a lot of levels."
The producer of the Grammys Ken Elrich said, " It's not for me to talk about, I produce the TV show."
Then the President of the Recording Academy had this to say, "They need to step up because I think they would be welcome. I don't have personal experience of those kind of brick walls that they face but I think it's upon us to make the welcome mat obvious breeding opportunities for all people."
The only woman to win was Alessia Cara for Best New Artist. Did you think women weren't represented well at this year's Grammys?
