In what was already an emotional show benefitting the victims of the Manchester Terror Attack, Liam Gallagher, of Oasis, made a rare and surprise appearance at the show including a performance as well.
Manchester Evening News reports:
Liam Gallagher brought the house down with a surprise set at One Love Manchester tonight.
The former Oasis frontman flew in straight from his appearance at German festival Rock im Park to perform at Ariana Grande's huge fundraising show at Emirates Old Trafford.
Liam opened his set with Oasis hit Rock 'n' Roll star before performing new solo single Wall Of Glass.
He was then joined on stage by Coldplay's Chris Martin for a tearjerking duet of Oasis hit Live Forever.
Chris, who is said to have persuaded Liam to come and perform at the show, was earlier accompanied by Ariana as they performed Oasis hit Don't Look Back In Anger.
After the performance, he sent his love out to the victims of the Manchester attack.
It wouldn't be a Liam Gallagher performance without mentioning his estranged brother, Noel. Early Monday morning he then Tweeted about his brother's absence from the benefit show.
