A 23-year-old Ohio woman was charged last week for raping her male cab driver, for allegedly holding him at knifepoint while forcing the driver into a sex act.
Police say Brittany Carter, Cory Jackson and a second unidentified male hailed the Uber at a TownePlace Suites hotel in Findlay on January 28th. In the indictment filed in Hancock County, Ohio, authorities allege that during the early morning trip, Jackson withdrew a knife and held it at the Uber driver's throat while Carter performed a sex act on the 29-year-old driver.
The Uber driver was otherwise uninjured.
"We don't know why she did it," Detective Lt. Robert Ring told the News-Messenger, referencing the sex act. Police say it's possible the rape occurred because they were trying to distract the driver, since they took a small amount of cash he had on him. Carter and Jackson have been charged with aggravated robbery, and the third person will be charged once he has been identified.
Carter remains at the Hancock County jail while being held on two first-degree felony charges.
