YMCA Stops Showing 24-hour News After Political Fights Erupt

When are we all going to just stop being divided and just start getting along?

We go to the YMCA to get away from all the other crap in the world and relax.

You could say that it's even FUN to stay there (wink wink).

The Hill reports via NBC Los Angeles that the decision to stop airing top news networks, such as MSNBC, Fox News and CNN was announced in a letter to gym members. The letter said there had been several incidents where heated political arguments broke out.

Trish Fisher, the CEO of Greater Scranton YMCA, said one argument was broken up by another gym member who kept the political battle from turning physical.

"We've had members step forward saying they've felt a little uncomfortable with the arguments going on over politics," Fisher told NBC.
