Metallica have announced that they are letting their fans vote for the opening band for their upcoming three night stand in Mexico City on March 1st, 3rd and 5th. Do you know anyone that would want this once in a lifetime opportunity? There are some GREAT bands here in the DMV and I just KNOW one of them could do this!
Here’s how it works: Local bands may submit a video (YouTube or SoundCloud links) to contactoocesa@cie.com.mx with the name of each band member, an e-mail address, phone number and city of residence. Please submit your videos before February 20th at 7:00 PM CST. All performers do need to be Mexican residents, currently active as a band, play on a regular basis and of course be available to perform on one of the show days, March 1st, 3rd, or 5th.
