Evergreen Solutions 4 U, Inc. is a woman-owned, small, certified business incorporated in the state of Virginia, United States. We are family owned and operated with solid growth throughout the past seventeen years of service and satisfaction. We currently operate in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and are dedicated to providing a single source maintenance program to commercial facilities, including educational and government facilities.

Evergreen’s Executive Team includes CEO and President, Tami J. Brown. She and her husband, John T. Brown have worked together for over twenty-five years. She is certified in Management, Exotic Floor Care, Carpet Care, and training in all aspects of janitorial cleaning services. She is responsible for determining the strategic direction of the company and its growth as well as overseeing operations, developing functional roles, and assigning responsibilities to corporate employees. She was formerly the CEO and President of Continental Janitorial Services, Inc., and the office manager for Continental Building Maintenance.

John is the Owner and General Manager of Evergreen Solutions 4U, Inc. He holds an Associate Degree in Business as well as several certificates in Management, Exotic Floor Care, Carpet Care, and Flood Restoration, including Mold and Mildew Remediation Procedures. He ensures the current and steady growth of the company on a day to basis and is active in all aspects of the company. John is an excellent team leader and organizer. He has over twenty years of commercial janitorial and building maintenance experience and was formerly General Manager for Continental Janitorial Services, Inc., and Continental Building Maintenance.

Over the past three years, Evergreen's revenues have increased by 10% and we have expanded our services to Maryland in addition to Virginia and Washington, DC. Evergreen earned its Green Seal Certification in August 2018 and are committed to sustainability by meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Evergreen’s efforts are focused on providing building services that protect health while minimizing the negative impact on the environment and the health of our clients and our employees. In 2021, we applied and were accepted as members into ISSA, The Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association.

Last year, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we partnered with a certified industrial hygienist to create a disinfection protocol that we have implemented in all of our customer accounts. We were recognized by Green Seal for adhering to their guidelines for COVID-19 Disinfecting. We have maintained all of our customer accounts throughout the pandemic, and we are proud that we started custodial services in an additional account in Maryland beginning in February 2021 and two additional accounts in August 2021, located in Washington, DC and Loudoun County, VA.

We recently applied for certification as a Local Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (LDBE) with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority and were awarded that certification in March 2021. We received our small business re-certification through the Virginia Department of Small Business & Supplier Diversity’s SWaM program in January 2019 and in September 2021, the women-owned designation was added to our certification.

Due to our growth, we were able to add an additional special services vehicle to our fleet this year and in October 2020, we transitioned to Paychex human resources and payroll services, which includes electronic timecard tracking and additional online training tools to assist our employees and managers in the field.

Evergreen’s roadmap and strategy for future growth is aggressive and we anticipate a 5-10% growth in the next five years. We hope to become the one vendor that our clients can contract to handle all of their building maintenance services, including pest control, waste management, and snow removal, in addition to janitorial services. We have established relationships with several vendors and think this will aid in us providing complete building maintenance packages for our clients to reduce their overall building costs.

Our key to a successful relationship with our customers is our immediate response to any situation. We pride ourselves on rapid response to any type of emergency day or night. We not only offer a custom schedule of janitorial services but many other services to eliminate the time and effort spent searching for vendors such as drywall repair, painting, mold remediation and a host of other services that will ultimately save time and money. Since we can provide so much more than custodial services, in 2020, we changed our name from Evergreen Janitorial Services, Inc. to Evergreen Solutions 4 U, Inc. to encompass all of the services we can provide to our clients.

Evergreen’s ultimate goal is to provide our customers with the best quality janitorial service possible through our team of management experts and talented personnel. We will provide a workable and closely supervised program to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service. To execute this goal, our plan will be to:

  • Define specific work requirements for the areas to be serviced.
  • Provide supervision by trained and qualified personnel to execute operations.
  • Implement and monitor Quality Control guidelines, utilizing a series of specialized inspection and performance reports.
  • Provide the latest state-of-the art equipment, supplies and materials.
  • Maintain open communication.

In addition to these various other services we provide, Evergreen has always strived to maintain a one-on-one relationship with our clients. We like to form a partnership with our clients and grow right along the side of them. Providing our clients with quality service at a competitive price has always been our main goal and we continue to operate with these overall objectives in mind. We clean millions of square feet each night with strong emphasis on supervision and training to maintain consistent levels of performance by using custom trained personnel and state of the art equipment.

Evergreen believes that in a commercial building, the difference between good service and outstanding service is a direct result of our management team and our employees. We pride ourselves on building one of the best and most experienced management teams at any level. We currently provide janitorial services at many of the leading medical, educational, and private business institutions throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Our people care about job quality, and they take the extra steps to ensure correctness of work.All work receives our personal attention. We provide job-site management and continuing communication between our staff and our clients’ staff. It is our goal to give our customers the best job possible. Every aspect of Evergreen's housekeeping/environmental program, including product and procedure training, quality supervision, and detailed inspection is designed to assist our customers in achieving compliance.

Evergreen has grown to more than 150 employees. We provide services to more than 10 million square feet of medical, commercial, industrial, residential and government space throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. We have an on-going safety program that includes random drug screening of our employees.We conduct weekly meetings to cover issues related to job site and personal safety. In addition to safety awareness, management takes this opportunity to keep our field personnel informed in matters concerning updated schedules and other issues regarding active projects. We take employee safety very seriously and are proud that we have had no accidents or incidents since 2015. Our new safety manual for employees will be available to all of our employees in next few months.

Evergreen does not experience a high volume of employee turnover. Once an employee is hired, they typically work for us for several years. We believe this is due to the attractive benefits packages we offer, and the way management treats our staff. In 2017, Evergreen was able to start a 401K retirement plan that any non-union employee is eligible to enroll after completing one year of service and a minimum of 1,000 hours worked. Our employee turnover rate is 0.06%, which is below the current 5% industry standard turnover rate.

Evergreen offers 24/7 Emergency Service Response to sudden and accidental damages, which is often the key to effective restoration.If water damage has escalated into Mold and Mildew contamination, Evergreen has the specialized knowledge to effectively remove and clean any level of contamination in a building and its contents. We consult on a daily basis with related professionals such as Insurance Adjusters, Microbiologists, Certified Industrial Hygienist and Professional Engineers to eliminate contamination and restore a healthy environment.

Our Special Services Department is available in conjunction with daily maintenance to maintain our customer’s investment. Evergreen will perform an audit on any of the Special Services listed and follow-up with the proper cleanup and re-mediation. Our trained uniformed technicians will arrive promptly in one of our specially equipped Special Vehicles. These vehicles and technicians are committed fulltime to providing all of our customer’s Special Services requirements.

We manage all of our contracts locally.Given our close proximity to our customer accounts, we are readily available to address any unforeseen challenges not only to the standard scope of work, but to include higher staffing requirements for peak periods or one-time/temporary jobs that may need completed. We accomplish this by continuous communication with our customers’ facilities department and our on-site staff.
