Jennifer Bognet, EVP, Bognet Construction

Celebrating 20 years in 2018, Bognet Construction is an award winning commercial general contractor specializing in large commercial tenant interiors and complex building renovations throughout the Washington metropolitan area.

After working in technology for Marriott International and Oracle Corporation for 17 years, Jennifer joined the firm in 2005 to expand the company and enhance the operation.She oversees many aspects of the firm including corporate strategy, business development, marketing, community relations, human resources, and IT. As a member of the Bognet Construction board of directors, she was involved in the implementation of a new corporate structure that extended ownership to three new equity partners in 2017.Since joining the firm, Bognet’s annual revenues have grown from $40M to $158M and Bognet has moved up from #22 to #7 on the Washington Business Journal’s List of Largest Interior General Contractors.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Old Dominion National Bank and the Tysons Partnership, where she chairs the Communications Council.She is on the Executive Committee and is the co-chair of Sponsorship for the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Lombardi Women Connecting for a Cure event since 2012.In 2014 she was President of the DC chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW DC).She is a member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade where she serves on the membership committee.She is also a member of Leadership Greater Washington, class of “Sweet ‘16” 2016.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the Smeal College of Business at the Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Science in Information Technology from the George Mason University.She resides in Vienna, VA with her husband Jim, and her son and daughter.
