2023 marks DC101’s seventh and Leidos’ fourth year supporting the Washington, D.C. Out of the Darkness Experience. Since 2017, the DC101 One More Light team, now captained by DC101’s Mike Jones, has recruited more than 500 team members and raised over $200,000 in support of AFSP’s mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

"The mission continues for DC101 + Leidos' Team One More Light: to do everything we can to raise awareness and help in the fight to #StopSuicide. As the new team captain, I'd like to say hello to everyone who has been with us over the past few years and to welcome all new members! It's so important to keep the conversation going about mental health and how much it means to our well-being. Every part of that means so much and makes such a difference to so many. Thank you for your support and involvement!
I'd also like to thank Gregory Roche for all that he has done since 2017 to spearhead DC101 + Leidos' Team One More Light and for everything that has been done. I want to make Roche proud as I take over to lead the team!
I hope that you will join DC101 + Lei dos for the 2023 Out Of The Darkness Washington, DC. Walk and I know that we can achieve our goal to raise $100,000 this year. Together, we will succeed!" - Mike jones
