A restaurant that was shut down by the Baltimore City Health Department will not reopen, according to a report by WBAL-TV.

The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at Harborplace was closed by the Health Department earlier in February due to "permitting issues."

"Sadly, we are closed for good," says Luke Kosters, an attorney and executive for the company which operated the Bubba Gump next to the Inner Harbor.

The restaurant was covered with a neon yellow sign by the Health Department saying that is was closed down on February 10th.

City officials say that the owners of the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. failed to renew their food permit for the restaurant.

The seafood restaurant, which got its name from the 1994 film "Forrest Gump," has 36 locations worldwide, according to their website.
