Red Hot Chili Peppers Share Snippet of First Song w/ John Frusciante Back

The Red Hot Chili Peppers shared a short snippet of what appears to be a new song. It's presumably the first new music the band has made with guitarist John Frusiciante since 2006, nearly 17 years ago.

The clip is only 18 seconds long but it's hard not to get excited.

The band has made no secret that they've been working on new music since Frusciante rejoined the band in 2019.

Drummer Chad Smith told NME in October 2021 that he expects a new album to be released before the band kicks off their world tour in June 2022, calling it "different and new."
