Police are looking for a man nicknamed the "snake burglar" who was caught on surveillance video crawling his way through a Riverside boutique and getting away with thousands of dollars.
Video showed the suspect on his stomach and crawling across the floor of Rustic Roots salon at around 5 a.m. last Friday.
He clearly was attempting to try not to trip the motion sensor, and the trick appeared to have worked since the alert doesn't go off.
The salon owner says he took a safe containing a few thousand dollars, trivial money from the register and hundreds of dollars worth of items.
A neighborhood pizza parlor says it additionally had a "snake burglar" as of late, who could likely be the same one caught in this video.
