A 63-year-old Tennessee man was arrested after he allegedly held the employees of a Little Caesars Pizza at gunpoint with an AK-47 assault rifle.

Knoxville police say Charles Doty, Jr. was enraged after being told he would have to wait 10 minutes for his pepperoni pizza to cook. Little Caesars is generally known for having pizzas already ready when you come to the store, but it's not unheard of to have to wait if a certain kind is sold out.

Doty also reportedly asked for free breadsticks for the inconvenience. He left the store presumably to wait, but returned with an AK-47 and demanded that the employees give him his pizza immediately. Another customer inside the store reportedly offered to give him her pepperoni pizza.

He then reportedly fled the restaurant. Surveillance footage from inside the restaurant reportedly shows Doty threatening an employee who was trying to leave at the end of his shift. He instead flees to the back of the restaurant to call 911.

Doty was later arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated assault and one count of aggravated kidnapping.
