BREAKING: Human Remains Found in Florida Park Where Brian Laundrie Missing

Human remains were found in Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in Florida, hours after Brian Laundrie's family attorney confirmed Brian's "articles" had been found on a trail.

"Chris and Roberta went to the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park this morning to search for Brian,” Bertolino said in a statement. “The FBI and NPPD were informed last night of Brian’s parents’ intentions and they met Chris and Roberta there this morning."

"After a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented some articles belonging to Brian were found. As of now law enforcement is conducting a more thorough search of that area."

A medical examiner and cadaver dogs were called to the Park before the confirmation was made. It's still unclear who's remains were found.

Laundrie's parents reportedly went to the Park with police and FBI to search for their son. The park had been reopened to the public on Tuesday after being closed for nearly a month before the discovery was made.

Brian's parents said that he went for a hike on September 13th and never returned.
