"Articles" belonging to Brian Laundrie have been found in a Florida reserve near his home, says Steven Berolino, the Laundrie's family attorney.
The items were reportedly found in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, where the FBI and authorities have been looking for Laundrie for the past five weeks.
On Wednesday morning, Brian's parents were seen going into the park which is next to the Carlton Reserve. The items were reportedly found on a trail. The park only reopened to the public on Tuesday after being closed for nearly a month.
"Chris and Roberta went to the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park this morning to search for Brian,” Bertolino said in a statement. “The FBI and NPPD were informed last night of Brian’s parents’ intentions and they met Chris and Roberta there this morning."
"After a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented some articles belonging to Brian were found. As of now law enforcement is conducting a more thorough search of that area."
This is a developing story...
