The lawyer for Brian Laundrie's family revealed a new detail that may have just significantly altered the timeline of the case of Gabby Petito.

Steven Bertolino says that Brian Laundrie flew home to Florida on August 17th, before Petito died and before Luandrie allegedly drove home to Florida in the white van.

August 17th is also after the fight between the couple that police bodycams recorded when they were called to the scene of a domestic dispute.

"Brian flew home to obtain some items and empty and close the storage unit to save money as [he and Petito] contemplated extending the road trip," Bertolino told the New York Post.

"To my knowledge, Brian and Gabby paid for the flights, as they were sharing expenses," he added.

Cassie Laundrie Luycx, Brian's sister, also claimed that Brian was at his parents' house in Florida two weeks before law enforcement say he drove the white Ford Transit van back to the residence.

The new information suggests that Laundrie and Petito separated at some point after they were stopped by police in Moab, Utah on August 12th. Cops did not file any charges against them but had separated them for the night with Brian being taken to a nearby hotel and Gabby staying in her van.
