Limp Bizkit Shares Studio Version of New Song 'Dad Vibes'

Along with Fred Durst's dramatic change of appearance at Lollapalooza in July, the band shared an aptly-titled new song called "Dad Vibes."

And now we have the studio version of the track that was just shared online.

The artwork for the single depicts Durst's appearance at the festival complete with highwater pants, Vans slip-ons, wig and glasses.

The track could be part of the bands "Stampede of the Disco Elephants" album which has been in the works for nearly a decade.

"We've probably, in the last 10 years, been in the studio to try and complete the record, I wanna say, seven times, to different studios," says guitarist Wes Borland.

"We probably have 35 songs recorded instrumentally, and he's [Durst] done vocals on them and then thrown the vocals away."

But apparently a release is coming soon. In an Instagram story, the band shared, "new songs will begin to leak, one after the other in rapid succession, very soon," with a new album "soon thereafter."
