A Florida man was arrested and faces multiple charges after she allegedly stole a vehicle from a dealership and returned days later to try and trade it in for a new vehicle.

Lake City Police say 50-year-old Timothy Wolfe stole the vehicle from Lake City Chrysler Dodge Jeep. Security cameras reportedly caught the theft, which happened on September 18th.

On Monday, two days later, police were called to the dealership on a report of a man trying to trade in a vehicle for a new one. Upon checking the VIN number of the vehicle Wolfe was trying to trade in, it matched the one of the vehicle that was stolen.

Upon police reading him his rights, Wolfe admitted to stealing the vehicle.

He was charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, dealing in stolen property, criminal mischief and petit theft.
