The search for Gabby Petite, the 22-year-old woman who went missing on a road trip with her fiance Brian Laundrie, now includes Brian.
According to Laundrie's attorney, his whereabouts are currently unknown.
"The FBI is currently at the Laundrie residence removing property to assist in locating Brian. As of now, the FBI is now looking for both Gabby and Brian."
North Port Police said on Friday evening that they were speaking with the Laundrie family at their request. Police Chief Todd Garrison said a statement would me made once they had all of the details.
Earlier on Friday, police officers were seen entering the Laundrie family home, reportedly carrying a bag for evidence inside.
Petito has been officially missing since September 11, but her last known contact with her family was at the end of August during her cross-country trip with Brian.
Laundrie was recently named a "person of interest" in the investigation. He returned home from the cross-country trip in his van on September 1st without Gabby.
