The man suspected of being parked near the US Library of Congress in Washington, DC claiming to have his pickup truck full of explosives appears to be live-streaming himself on his Facebook page. He claims he doesn't want to hurt anyone and that it will take "Joe," presumably President Joe Biden, to shoot him himself to get him to leave.
Police are still calling the situation an active bomb threat as they attempt to negotiate with the man, believed to be from North Carolina. The suspect claims there are also other bombs in DC.
The man was streaming videos to his personal Facebook account, but it appears that it has been shut down.
Multiple sources later say that the man surrendered and is in custody.
