Fall Out Boy Pulls Out of Hella Mega Tour Dates So Weezer Covers Them

Fall Out Boy pulled out of a couple of dates on their highly anticipated Hella Mega Tour with Green Day, Weezer and The Interruptors, after a crew member tested positive for COVID. The band chose to sit out their New York and Boston dates "out of an abundance of caution."

While the other three bands continued onward last night (August 4) at Citifield in New York City, Weezer decided to give the fans some Fall Out Boy tunes since the band didn't play. No stranger to covers recently, Weezer chose "Sugar, We're Goin Down" with Rivers Cuomo going solo with a guitar.

Not bad considering Rivers probably didn't have much time to plan for the cover!
