Bubba Watson at the time of this writing currently leads the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour with a score of -8 after two rounds. His round of four-under par 66 on Friday had a number of highlights but perhaps none more than his tee shot on hole #2.
Watson teed up on the 350-yard par 4 with his driver and had a rip, but as he whipped the club for his shot, the club broke when the shaft snapped at the head, sending it flying off into the crowd apparently.
Miraculously, Watson's ball starts down the right hand side of the fairway and peels back to the fairway, ending up 295 yards from the tee.
Watson even turned the near disaster into a birdie after hitting his approach shot to 10-feet away and then making the putt.
