A Missouri woman has plead guilty after she allegedly smuggled a gun into a Boone County jail by hiding it inside of her vagina.
39-year-old Amy Wilhite was accused of bringing the 4-inch .22 caliber revolver inside the jail on February 14. It was also reportedly fully loaded with five rounds upon its discovery.
Police and guards failed to discover the gun on her person after she was incarcerated following separate gun and narcotics charges. Wilhite allegedly was in possession of the gun inside the jail for 17 days before she was caught.
She admitted to having the gun during questioning, but claimed she was holding it for another inmate.
Other inmates however testified against Wilhite, saying that it was her gun the whole time.
