Sabra Dipping Company, LLC, has recalled a popular hummus product over a concern that the product may contain salmonella. About 2,100 cases of the 10oz size containers of Classic Hummus were identified during a routine screening by the FDA.

The FDA released a statement saying the products of concern were manufactured on February 10, 2021, and the containers are marked with a "Best Before" date of April 26. The FDA says it's unlikely the products are still on store shelves, but may be in the fridges of cosumers.

No illnesses have been linked to the hummus at the time of this writing. The product in question was distributed to 16 states including Virginia.

The FDA is telling consumers to return the hummus to their place of purchase should they have one of the containers in question.
