'Moonshiners' Star Lance Waldroup Dead at 30

Lance Waldroup, a famous bootlegger from the Discovery show Moonshiners, has died at the age of 30, according to TMZ.

Waldroup died on February 25 in his home state of North Carolina, according to his father Jeff, who also appeared on the show. Lance's mother Lynn reportedly found him unconscious and not breathing, and called 911. Graham County Sheriff's deputies responded and found Lance deceased on his bed.

Apparently, Lynn had spoken to Lance just four hours before his passing. He had gone to his room and laid down on his bed on his own. No signs of foul play were noted, and his cause of death is currently under investigation.

Lance appeared in several seasons early in the show's history. His family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for a memorial fund. In the description, it's noted that he was a recovering drug addict and had turned his life around, quitting the show to take care of his mother who suffered from MS.
