Although there have been many peaceful protests over the death of George Floyd, unfortunately some have chosen to use the opportunity to loot and vandalize businesses.
A video taken in Fairfield, California, a subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area, shows looters breaking into the front of a Best Buy store. To break into the store, it appears both a forklift and crane are hijacked and used to smash the glass on the doors.
One the doors are broken, a flood of protesters can be seen fleeing the area.
According to the user who uploaded the original video to social media, police were already in the vicinity and were quick to arrive to the area.
"It's just crazy to see all this stuff going on right now in the city," she said.
