'Hot' Nurse Faces Discipline for Only Wearing Underwear Beneath Clear Gown

A nurse in Russia is facing discipline after she was photographed wearing only her underwear beneath a clear PPE gown.

The nurse was reportedly suspended from the hospital where she was working in Tula, about 100 miles south of the Russian capital of Moscow. Although she appeared to be taking the proper precautions, as she was photographed wearing a head covering, goggles, a face mask, plastic gloves, and full gown, the fact that her undergarments are visible stirred controversy. She was apparently working in an all-male section of a COVID-19 ward.

While the hospital says there were "no complaints" from any of the patients, the hospital says she was in "non-compliance with the requirements for medical clothing."

The unnamed nurse, reportedly in her 20s, claims she was "too hot" to wear clothing beneath the gown and didn't realize that her underwear was showing.
