The First Two 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater' Games Are Being Re-Released in 4K

If you were a kid in the late 90's/ early 2000s and had a Sony PlayStation or Nintendo 64, chances are you either had Tony Hawk's Pro Skater or knew about it.

It was one of the first video games that gave you a sense of freedom to do whatever you felt like doing. THPS also had a badass soundtrack. It quickly became one of the best-selling games of all-time for those two systems, and the franchise has spawned more than 10 other games that have sold millions of copies.

But if you ask anyone, the first two games in the series were probably the best, or at least most fondly remembered. And now they are being re-released.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 are being bundled together and remastered for current-gen consoles and PC this fall. The original levels, skaters, gameplay and (most of, not all sadly) soundtrack will be coupled with updated graphics.

Does the gameplay hold up these days? Unlikely, but this will surely provide a nice dose of nostalgia.
