Maryland Governor Larry Hogan 10am 3/19 Update:
- Maryland saw its first death
- 107 confirmed cases in MD as of 10am. 88% increase in 2 days.
- Asking to delay completion of 2020 census and Real ID implementation
- Access to BWI will only be granted to ticketed passengers and badges workers
- Urging the use of public transit for only essential travel only
- No one should get on unless you're emergency personal, front line responder, or your job is essential
- Continues to urge people to stay home
- All gatherings of more than 10 people are now banned by executive order
- All enclosed shopping malls and entertainment venues will close at 5pm today
- If you are engaged in gatherings or ignoring these guidelines, you are in violation of state law
- Urging all universities to move to online for the remainder of semester
- 900 additional hospital beds have been added since last week - By early April they expect an additional 1,400 beds
- Delivery and carryout sale of alcohol is now permissible (subject to local regulations) to help small business and restraints and protect people from leaving home
- We now have more than 350 meal distribution centers for students across the state

- Gov. Hogan commended the community for coming together and helping our community
- With that he launched the Maryland Unites website: It will allow residents to seek ways to volunteer and help their neighbors.
