Governor Hogan Announces MD Bars, Restaurants, Gyms, Must Close by 5 PM

Adding to the growing list of precautions being taken in the state of Maryland to combat the spread of COVID-19, Governor Larry Hogan has announced all restaurants, bars, movie theaters and gyms must be closed by 5:00 PM today (March 15).

Although dining service can no longer continue, Hogan says restaurants can still offer food via carryout and by delivery service.

At the time of this writing, 37 people in the state of Maryland have tested positive for COVID-19. That number is expected to rise in the near future.
