A man on TikTok shared a video that shows a trick on how to stop having a panic attack. He simply takes a lemon and just bites straight into it. Apparently the texture of the lemon and the bitterness of it forces your brain to focus on the sensations happening in your mouth and away from your anxious thoughts.
He explains biting into a lemon is a "grounding technique," something that distracts your brain from having a panic attack and focuses it on your senses.
He ends the video with this statement: "You're stronger than the battles you're going through. You're an amazing human being. So find what works for you. You got this. You matter."
