A 70-year-old man went to a hospital in England because he needed an operation on his bladder. But when he woke up after the procedure he found out that the wrong surgery was performed on him.
Terry Brazier instead had his penis circumcised after hospital staff mistook him for another patient. Brazier says he was very distracted while talking to a nurse and wasn't paying close enough attention to know that something didn't seem right.
The hospital says they are "deeply sorry" for the mistake and compensated Terry with $24,000 for the mistake.
