Elderly Man Dies from Injuries After Woman Pushes Him Off Bus

Warning: Video Contains Disturbing Images

A 74-year-old man has died as a result of his injuries suffered in March when 25-year-old Cadesha Bishop pushed him off of a city bus.

The two were passengers on a bus in downtown Las Vegas and witnesses say Bishop was yelling profanities at other passengers. The 74-year-old, Serge Fournier, told Bishop to be nicer to other passengers as he used a walker to exit the bus. Video footage shows Bishop pushing Fournier off the bus "with enough force that he never touched any of the steps."

Fournier hit his head on the sidewalk during the fall. He initially refused treatment despite bleeding from his head but checked himself into a hospital later the same day.

A hospice worker found Fournier dead on April 23. A coroner's report shows that Serge died from complications of blunt force torso injuries and his death was ruled a homicide.

Bishop was later identified from the video footage from the jacket she was wearing and her son's backpack. Her son was on the bus with her when the incident occurred.

Detectives spoke with the father of Bishop's son, who said he is no longer with her because "she is too violent."

A warrant was issued for Bishop's arrest and she was booked that same day according to court records.

Police are now asking for passengers who were on the bus during the incident to come forward as witnesses. Bishop now faces a murder charge.
