Loudoun County Elementary School Teacher Arrested for Being Drunk at School

An elementary school teacher in Loudoun County was arrested and charged after police determined he was drunk on the school's property.

46-year-old Brian Chamer was charged with drinking or possessing alcoholic beverages in or on public school grounds and with public intoxication by police. They were called to the school after an employee of Mill Run Elementary School in Ashburn believed Chamer was possibly intoxicated. When police arrived, they say they found bottles of alcohol with his personal items at the school.

Chamer was taken into custody and was later released on bond. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
