Virginia Town Changes Its Name To 'Capitalsville' For Washington Capitals

When the Washington Capitals beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals, people were ecstatic. 

So ecstatic, that a small town in Virginia is going through extreme measures to help the Capitals celebrate making it back to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 20 years.

According to Loudoun Now, the new name will be in effect from now until the Stanley Cup Final is over. However, if the Capitals defeat the Golden Knights, the change would last until a week after they capture their first title.
