New blink-182 Sounds Like "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" Says Mark Hoppus

In April, blink-182 revealed they were in the studio working on some new music, and now Mark Hoppus says the new songs sound like something that wouldn't be out of place on their 2001 hit album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket.

On Twitter Hoppus says, "Early days still but the newest blink-182 songs sound like they pick up where Take Off Your Pants and Jacket left off."

The new music would be the band's second set with Matt Skiba who joined blink in 2015 and put out the highly-successful album California in 2016. The band is currently gearing up for a 16-date Las Vegas residency at the Pearl Theater at the Palms Resort & Casino beginning May 26th.
