A shooting has been reported at the NSA Headquarters in Fort Meade, MD on Wednesday morning. Photos from the scene show a black SUV with bullet holes in the windshield that crashed into a concrete barrier near a security gate.
According to a Fort Meade spokesperson, one person injured in the shooting was taken to the hospital. Another spokesperson says the situation is currently under control.
The FBI and Fort Meade police are currently investigating the incident.
Route 32 was closed in both directions near and traffic was rerouted.
Update (8:56 AM): The Baltimore branch of the FBI says the incident has been contained. A correction has been made the number of people reported to have been injured in the incident.
