Most Annoying Word This Year Is The Same One For The Past Nine Years

There's one word so annoying it's made the top of the of the "Most Annoying Words" list for nine straight years.  A new Marist Poll released revealed "whatever" is detested by 33-percent of Americans, down from 38-percent last year.  People under 45 aren't as perturbed by "whatever" as their older counterparts. 

 The second most hated words are "fake news" with 23-percent of respondents finding it annoying followed by the phrase "no offense, but," then the word "Literally" and finally "you know what I mean" rounds out the top five.
